Whenever I see anyone in need of help, my first impulse is to help that person. Irrespective of the fact whether I am able to help the person or not, I have realised that this impulse to help others is my ‘calling’. With this rabid pace of development which has made individualism more popular than collectivism, somewhere we are losing the human touch. This need to restore basic human values such as: care, sympathy, love, readiness to help others has always motivated me to engage in social service.
